Mrs. John Parmenter.
A resident of Buffalo for many years before moving to Geneva, Mrs. John Parmenter, 71, died Monday in Buffalo General hospital. The funeral took place today in Geneva.
Mrs. Parmenter was the widow of the late Dr. John Parmenter, who retired from practice in Buffalo in 1907 and became president of the Geneva Savings bank. The daughter of George and Ellen Marvine Gorham, Mrs. Parmeter was born in Buffalo March 16, 1867, and educated here. She was married in Buffalo in 1892.
Mrs. Parmenter is survived by a son, Dr. Richard Parmenter of Ithaca; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Clifton of Buffalo and Mrs. E. Harold Cluett of Troy and a brother, Marvine Gorham of Buffalo.
