Paul M. Anthony, Sr, 86, of 415 washington St., Walnutport, Pa. died in Gnaden Huetten Hospital, Lehighton. He was the husband of the late Beatrice I. (Kleintop) Anthony.
Born in Treichlers, he was a son of the late George and Mary Ann (leh) Anthony.
He was a telegraph operator for the former Lehigh Valley Railroad for 53 years, retiring in 1968.
Survivors include 4 sons, Kenneth G.; Arnold J., Lamar D., and Paul M. Jr. all of Walnutport; a daughter, Schirlene S. Benninger; and a brother, Earl of Walnutport; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A son Curtis G. died in 1985.
Services at 11 am, Friday at Fox Funeral Home 1002 Main St., Slatington. A calling houur will preceed the services.
