Larry Crawford was born in Galveston to Elizabeth Ratisseau and Lawrence Cline Crawford Sr. on November 8, 1940.

He lived in Alta Loma which later became Santa Fe.

He played the tuba in his high school band and was also in boy scouts.

Larry entered the Air Force and served as Staff Sergeant in the SAC Air Command Post and later became a mailman for over thirty years. This job allowed regular hours to be with his family.

He was the oldest of five children and helped his mother with them. Therefore he was a very good brother and later on awesome father and grandfather.

He loved his family and was always more thoughtful of them than himself. He was Lutheran and accepted Christ at an early age.

He married Judy in June of 1965 and in 1967 they had their first child, Debby. In 1969 they had their second child, David. Later as the children grew, Debby married Will Alan Loveless and we have enjoyed their three daughters, Grace (19), Faith (18), and Hope (16).They were the joy of his life.

He was later to retire early to Judy's grandparents family ranch and one of his dreams came true. He was able to remodel the old home and make it very comfortable.
He was kind, caring and thoughtful and always encouraged our grandchildren and our own. He had such joy and love and made people laugh with him.

Vacations were important to him. He loved to plan and show us fun things. We will miss him. He was our best friend.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Judy Crawford; all his children and grandchildren; brother, Jim and his wife Lena; niece, Annalisa; sisters, Ruth Kunkle, Mary Dee Calhoun and niece, K.K., Linda Berry and nephews Allen and Robert; Judy's brother, David Bunger and his wife Lorna and their sons Jeffrey Bunger and his wife Rebecca and their children; Travis Bunger and his wife Kelly and their children.
