EL CAMPO - Daniel Henry Linhart, 87, of El Campo passed away on November 12, 2018. He was born on April 10, 1931 in Engle, Texas to the late Joe F. and Amelia Sbrusch Linhart. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. Daniel was a mechanic and retired from Mustang Tractor after 35 years. He was a member of American Legion Post 251, V.F.W. Post 2786, S.P.J.S.T. Lodge 30, and R.V.O.S.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 61 years Evelyn Linhart, sister Hilda Baca, brothers Herbert, Albert, Leo, and Henry Linhart, grandson Jeffrey McKeon, niece Jeanette Bender and sister-in-law Matilda "Tillie" Linhart.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday November 14, 2018 from 2 pm to 7 pm at Triska Funeral Home. A Rosary will follow at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday November 15, 2018 at 2:30 pm at St. John's Catholic Church in Taiton with Rev. Gabriel Oduro-Tawiah officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Memorial Park under the auspices of American Legion Post 251.
