He was born March 5, 1875 in Jamestown, Ohio, son of Granville and Amanda Chalmers McGrady. He was married to Bertha Batherick. She preceded him in death.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Pearl Eyrse of Hopedale; a son, Archer of Peoria; two brothers, James of Minier and Harley of Green Valley; and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Ohms and Mrs. Minnie Powers, both of Bloomington.
Burial was in a Mackinaw cemetery.
