Belva Loretta Satterfield Elliott, age 79, of Russellville, died Sunday, November 11, 2018, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. She was born July 31, 1939, in Carden Bottoms to Orvil “Ras” and Alice Sanders Satterfield.

She was a United States Air Force veteran, a member of First Baptist Church and was active at the St. Mary’s Fitness Center.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Elliott Jr; her sister, Mary Sue Almond; and a niece, Paula Ann Smith.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth Elliott Sr., of Helena, Vincent and Michelle Elliott of Marion, Illinois, and Richard and Karen Elliott of Russellville; a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Russell McWhorter of Russellville; a brother-in-law, Carroll Elliott of Corsica, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, Kenneth Elliott Jr., Ian Elliott, Steffan Elliott, Niki Bazhaw, and Lauren Howard; and 11 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 16, 2018, at the Shinn Chapel. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be her sons and grandson.
