Rev. Benjamin Franklin Hitchcock was the son of Samuel and Ann Marie (Finch) Hitchcock. He was the husband of Emily Hazard (Burleigh) Hitchcock. They were married August 15, 1866. Emily died February 15, 1924. Rev. Hitchcock was a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church: East Genesee Conference 1864 F 1869 Central New York Conference by change of boundaries 1872 East Genesee Conference at reorganization and to Genesee Conference by consolidation 1876 Central New York conference by change of boundaries 1880 Genesee Conference by transfer 1889.
