Death of Another Veteran.

L. B. Schoonover, aged 87 years, died at his home at old Elenorah [sic] on Friday morning, September 11th after a brief illness. He was one of the best known citizens of that part of the county and for many years was the postmaster at Ellenorah and also served quite a while as justice of the peace. He left five children, as follows: Dudley, of Oklahoma; Mrs. Esther Rucker, of Oklahoma; Morris, who lives in Kansas; Grover, also a resident of Kansas; Mrs. Agnes Gillespie, of Darlington, and Everett, of Denver.

The funeral was held Saturday and the burial took place at Prairie Chapel.
