Joan M. McNally, 88, formerly of Easton, PA, passed away peacefully at her son's home on Nov. 7, 2018.

Born on Dec. 22, 1929,in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Tiddings Harrison.

Joan worked for S.K.F. Industries in Philadelphia, PA, as a teletype operator.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, Easton, PA, where she was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and the Women's Guild and a decade's-long singer in the parish choir and bereavement choir. She was also a member of St. Michael's Lithuanian Choir.

She received her vocal training from Irene Williams Studios in Philadelphia.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Francis McNally, Sr., who passed away in 2001; her sons, Timothy McNally, who passed away in 2015, and Francis McNally, Jr., who passed away in 2003, and her brother, Dennis Patrick Harrison, who passed away in 2002.

Joan is survived by her beloved children, Stephen, of Bethlehem Twp., PA, John, of Bethlehem, Twp., PA, James C. and his wife, Charlene of Bushkill Twp., PA, Dennis P. of Plainfield Twp., PA. and M. Kate McNally of Bushkill Twp., PA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Andrew C. McNally, Kathryn A. McNally and Sean H. Thorman, along with her sister, Mary Hammon of Brooklyn, NY, and her dog, Abby.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. at The Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Palmer Twp., PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Nov. 12, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. Bernard's Oratory, 132 S. 5th St. Easton, PA. Interment will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem, PA.
