Alline Verna Clatterbuck 76, of Orange, died Friday, December 5, 2014, at the Dogwood Village of Orange County.She was born on September 2, 1938, in Albemarle County, a daughter of the late Cary Lee and Verna Pearl Thomas Moubray.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Clatterbuck II; and a brother, Clarence Moubray.

Mrs. Clatterbuck was a member of the Oak Park Baptist Church, and was also a retired cafeteria worker with the Orange County school system.

Mrs. Clatterbuck is survived by three daughters, Judy Blankenship and husband, Earl, of Orange, Beverly O'Berry and husband, Wendall, of Madison, Debra Corbin and husband, Ken, of Orange; two sons, Cary Clatterbuck and wife, Robin, of Madison, Allen Clatterbuck and wife, Susan, of Orange; two sisters, Thelma Bradshaw and husband, Beverly, of Culpeper, Margie Carpenter of Orange; two brothers, Bobby Moubray and wife, Dorothy, of Orange, James Moubray of Orange; eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2014, from the Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Orange, with interment in Graham Cemetery. Pastors Arthur Green and Archie Seale officiated. The family received friends from 6 until 7 p.m. on Monday, December 8, 2014, at the funeral home.
