Edie Hatch, 91, died Aug. 7, 2003 at her home in Taylor.



Edie was born in Snowflake where she lived her early life. She attended Snowflake schools until she married Reed Hatch of Taylor. They made their home in Taylor where she lived the rest of her life. Edie was a homemaker and loved doing all of the things that go with it. She loved gardening, and growing beautiful flowers. Edie was a life long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various capacities in the church.



She is survived by four sons, Marvin (Darcine) of Winslow, Willard A. (Carol) of Farmington, New Mexico, Ben A. (Marlene) of Winslow and B. Marion (Holly) of Taylor; four daughters, Mildred (Lloyd) Willis of Taylor, Sherron (Doug) Woolford of Show Low, Jean (Kenny) McClaran of Taylor and Jane (Dan) Martineau of Taylor; two brothers, Ed Ramsay and Mel Ramsay both of Snowflake; 28 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her husband, Reed Hatch and one daughter, Prissilla.



Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 11 at the Taylor LDS Stake Center.



Owens Mortuary of Snowflake handled arrangements.
