Jeffery A. Dopp, 51, of Idaho Falls, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 3, 2018, from a lingering illness, surrounded by his family. He was under the care of his lifelong friend and nephew, Troy Nelson and Encompass Hospice.

Jeff was born on September 8, 1967, in Pocatello, Idaho and raised in Idaho Falls. He attended Falls Valley Elementary and graduated from Bonneville High School in 1988. Jeff enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing cards, Yahtzee, arcade games and attending dances and social gatherings at the Development Workshop. He especially enjoyed fishing and telling stories about how he always caught the biggest fish.

Jeff was a wonderful person who never complained about anything. He always had good things to say about people and he enjoyed anyone’s company. He was filled with love and compassion and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his sister, Tina (Paul) Nelson of Chubbuck, Idaho; his two brothers: Sidney Dopp of Coeur-D’alene, Idaho and Cass (Andrea) Dopp of Idaho Falls, Idaho; five nephews, seven nieces, twenty-two great-nieces and nephews.
