Ace W. McLaughlin, 71, Kronenwetter, died Thursday, November 1, 2018 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at his home.

He was born January 25, 1947 in Minnesota, son of the late Leonard and Ermine (Fletcher) McLaughlin. On March 25, 1972 he married Susan Gorman in Rothschild. She survives.

Ace served his country in the United States Army and worked at the former Central Storage Warehouse. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and most of all spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Susan McLaughlin; children, Kevin McLaughlin, Kurt (Kim) McLaughlin, Kim (Scott) Hintz and Kristie (Aaron) Wunsch; grandchildren, Maya McLaughlin, McKenna Hintz, Jacob and Cailin Will and Gavin Wunsch; sisters, Sandra Seefeldt, Linda (Gary) Rajek and Cindy (Jim) Sward.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau. Rev. Joy Nelson-Jeffers will officiate. Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.
