Lillian Aldridge Payne Hyatt, age 96, of Paducah, KY, formerly of Between the Rivers, passed away peacefully at 3:15 pm Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at her residence with her immediate family at her side.

She was born near Cadiz, KY on December 29, 1920 to her parents, Albert Gallatin and Lola Wood Aldridge.
Most of her life was spent Between the Rivers before moving to Grand Rivers, KY, Kuttawa, KY and finally to Paducah, KY. She was a member of Grand Rivers Baptist Church in Grand Rivers and attended the First Baptist Church in Paducah.

She is survived by her son, Larry Payne and his wife, Tena of Paducah; three grandchildren, Kendra L. Mitchell (Shay) of Paducah, Ryan D. Payne of West Paducah, and Alexa T. Payne of Paducah; one stepson, Arnold Hyatt of Kuttawa, KY; a stepdaughter, Debbie Hyatt Dodson (Robert) of Greenville, KY and two great grandchildren, Logan and Laken Mitchell of Murray, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers Albert Blakely "Dick" Aldridge, Orbie G. "Dude" Aldridge, Nacy W. Aldridge, Bill Aldridge and Claude H. Aldridge, two sisters Norene Edmondson and Lorene Stinnett, her first husband David H. Payne Jr., her second husband Eugene P. Hyatt, two stepsons Michael G. "Pete" Hyatt and Jerry Hyatt and one stepdaughter Marilyn Herrell.

Services will be held at Dunn's Funeral Home in Eddyville, KY. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 7, 2017.
Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. C. C. Brasher and will begin at 1:00 pm immediately following the visitation.
Burial will be at Dickerson Cemetery Between the Rivers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Paducah Junior College Foundation Scholarship Fund to provide scholarship funding for nursing students, 4810 Alben Barkley Drive, Paducah, KY 42002-7380.
