Mr. Easterling Holds Funeral


The funeral of Mrs. Ida Ethel Rasar, wife of Fred D. Rasar who died last Wednesday at Opolis, Kan., was held at the residence of William Rasar, one mile west of Mt. Auburn, Saturday, conducted by Rev. H. B. Easterling of Decatur, assisted by Rev. George McGee. Interment was in Mt. Auburn cemetery.

Mrs. Rasar was formerly Miss Ida. E. Adams. She was born at Archie, Mo., April 29, 1886. She was married to Mr. Rasar June 15, 1908. To this union were born two children, Dial, now nine, and Carolee, aged three, who are left in the care of their father. Mrs. Rasar was the daughter of William S. and Lue Adams, living now at Kincaid, Ills. There are seven sisters and one brother, all of whom were at the funeral with their father and mother.

Both the deceased and her husband were baptised by Rev. H. B. Easterling when quite young and united with the Christian church at Mt. Auburn. Mrs. Rasar leaves a large circle of friends to mourn her loss. She had especially fine qualities as a neighbor, wife and mother.
