James Bernardini, 90, formerly of Ottawa, died Sunday, Dec. 17, at Victoria Gardens in Frisco, Texas.

Mr. Bernardini was born Nov. 9, 1916, in Dalzell, to Michael and Faustina (Castelli) Bernardini. He married Ida Mooney on Dec. 22, 1943. She died June 18, 1960.
He owned and operated the JLB Agency from 1946 until his retirement. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church and the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by two daughters, Carol Ann (Harold) Bonnell of Sublette and Marsha Lynn Bernardi of Ottawa; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and a brother, Renato (Ann) of Bloomington.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Kay White; four sisters, Linda Ceresa, Alma Travi, Julia Gualandri and Pearl Tanrri; and two brothers, Charles and Nori.
