Timothy Lee Garrett, 55 of Pacific, Missouri passed away on October 29, 2018 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
The son of Loyd Edward and Maxine Shirley (Oakes) Garrett, he was born in Fairfax, Missouri on February 15, 1963. Following his high school graduation from Pacific, Missouri, he worked on construction as a heavy equipment operator and was working in this capacity at the time of his death.
Survivors include his parents, Loyd and Maxine Garrett of Camdenton, Missouri; three aunts, Bonnie Oakes of Sedalia, Missouri, Carol Seamster of Downing, Missouri and Barbara Garrett of Waynesville, Missouri; two uncles, Dale Oakes and wife, Judy of Sedalia, Missouri and Lyle Garret and wife, Lana of Harrisburg, Missouri; several cousins; other family members and a host of good friends.
Timothy is preceded in death by his grandparents, Herbert “Red” and Wilma June Garrett and Max and Irene Oakes; one aunt, Nancy Bishop; two uncles Glen Garrett and Charles Seamster and one cousin, Michelle McNeal.
Timothy was a member of the Operating Engineers Union, Local 513. He loved his work and contributed 100 percent to his work. He also enjoyed hobbies of fishing, canoeing the Meramec and White River and getting together with friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri with Sonny Smyser, Pastor of the Schuyler County Church of Faith in Lancaster, Missouri officiating. Music will be special CD selections of “I’ll Fly Away” and “Amazing Grace”. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral services from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri. Memorials have been established for the Campground Cemetery. Burial will be in the Campground Cemetery, east of Downing, Missouri.
