Carol was born in Pawnee City, Nebraska, on June 29, 1921. She was raised by her parents in Melbourne Iowa. There she met and married Victor Leroy Miiller of Laurel, Iowa on April 19, 1940. They shared 67 years of marriage until his passing in 2006.
Together they enjoyed parenthood, work and dancing. They made close and valued friends over the years, living mainly in Gladbrook, Davenport, and Clive.
Their four children are Carolyn Sue Stidwell (Walt), Mary Orcutt, Victor Jr., and Jane Miiller Van Haaften (John); granddaughters Cathy Stidwell (Frank) Eimer, Carrie O'Boyle (Patrick), and Michelle Orcutt; and four great-grandsons, Finn, Alex, Mac, and Max.
The family wishes to thank the many and varied medical professionals who have helped over the years, Dr. Louis Schneider, Iowa Methodist Hospital, and the super staff of Urbandale Healthcare Center, Saint Jude Hospice, and Lori Taylor.
