Funeral services for Patricia Hoffman Buie, 77, of Fort Necessity, will be 10 am Friday, November 2, 2018, in the chapel of Gill First National Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Fife officiating. Interment will follow in Buie Cemetery, Fort Necessity. Visitation will be 5 - 8 pm Thursday November 1, 2018, at the funeral home.
Patricia was born July 30, 1941, in Monroe to the union of Raymond Woodward Hoffman and Eva Gladys Bennett Hoffman; she passed from this life on October 29, 2018, in Winnsboro.
Patricia was an avid sports fan, especially when her grandchildren were playing. She enjoyed traveling and cooking, but her passion was sewing and quilting.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband Charles Buie.
Survivors include three children: Allison Killingsworth and husband Gary of Winnsboro, Mark Hoffman Liles, Sr. of Fort Necessity, and Dr. A. C. Liles, III and wife Carol Ann of Covington; five grandchildren: Mark Hoffman Liles, Jr. and wife Heather of Winnsboro, Michael Allen Liles and wife Kristi of Rayville, Mason Copeland Liles of New Orleans, Ainsley Claire Liles and Avery Caitlin Liles of Covington; five great grandchildren: Ty McMurry, Kaden Liles, Lilly Mae Liles, Trace Allen Liles, and Levi Hoffman Liles; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Mark Liles, Michael Liles, Mason Liles, Myles Kiper, James Moore, David Guimbellot, and Todd Guimbellot.
