Elsie (my mom) was born August 11, 1937 to Ernie and Myrle Blades in Witt Illinois. She married William Pierick and had 4 children. Michael, Steven, Janet Carol Pierick and Brian. She divorced and was married to Kenneth Sandusky of Benton Illinois, divorced him and was married to William Morschauser of Wisconsin.

Mom always had a smile on her face...and as you can see from the photos it was a beautiful smile. She was one of the most beautiful people I know - both inside and out.

Mom swore that she saw an Angel hovering at the foot of her hospital bed behind my brother and a nurse. She said she was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen. Mom died two days later. The inscription on Janet Carol's grave marker says "Little Angel". I like to think that Janet came to make mom's journey home a little nicer.

She was cremated and we were able to bury a small urn of her ashes with her Daughter, Janet Carol Pierick .
