Larry Don Dromgoole, 66, of Wichita Falls passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018.

The family will receive friends between 6 and 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Burkburnett Memorial Cemetery in Burkburnett, Texas with Pastor Billy Jackson, officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral home of Wichita Falls.

Larry was born on November 24, 1951 to J.L. and Amelia Alline (Braudaway) Dromgoole in Wichita Falls. He graduated from Wichita Falls High School, where he played football for the Coyotes. Larry proudly served in the United States Army with a tour in Vietnam. After coming back home, he continued the welding trade he was taught in the Army. Larry was a member of First Pentecostal Church of God in Wichita Falls. He loved his family, dirt-track racing, drawing, and was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. The man with the “Big Heart” will truly be missed by his family and friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, J.L Dromgoole; and a brother, Jerry Dan.

He is survived by his mother, Amelia Alline Dromgoole of Wichita Falls; two daughters, Brandy Dromgoole of Wichita Falls, and Kimberly Huff and husband, Nick of Bridgeport; 7 grandchildren, Amanda, Clint, Shalee, Branon, Kaitlyn, Jared and Caedon; and 4 great-grandchildren.
