ARTHUR, Charles - Mr. Charles James Arthur at Glen Stor Dun Lodge on Wednesday October 24, 2018 at the age of 95 years.

Loving father of Murray Charles Arthur (Heather), Jayne Arthur (Michael), and Steven Arthur (Suzanne).

Cherished grandfather of Jordan (Julia) and Barrett (Ashley) and great-grandfather of Giuliana, Georgia, and Louis. Dear brother of Eleanor (Stuart).

Predeceased by his wife Beatrice (née Sargeson), his brothers Morgan, Robert, John, and Gordon “Bud”, and his parents Clifford and Grace (née Sullivan) Arthur.

Charles was a World War II veteran and served 4 years with the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada Infantry Regiment in Europe and North Africa.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Patel and the staff at Glen Stor Dun Lodge for their care and compassion. At the request of Charles there will be no visitation or ceremony. Interment of cremated remains to take place in St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery at a later date. If so desired memorial donations to the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family
