Mrs. Callie Virginia Rhoden Burnette, age 91, of Lake City, Florida entered peacefully into eternal life, Tuesday, October, 23, 2018. Born and raised in Columbia County, she resided in Lake City the greater portion of her life. She worked at Bell south for 30 years until her retirement in 1982. She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church, Lake City, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Edwin J. Burnette and her parents, George Mack and Texie Virginia Crews Rhoden. Survivors include her daughters, Donna B. Hartley of Gainesville, Florida and Vicky B. Milleman of Fernandina Beach, Florida: one brother, Carroll Rhoden of Jacksonville, Florida: four grandchildren seven great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Burnette will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, Nov. 10, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Cagney Tanner officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Cemetery, Lake City, Florida.
