husband, William Messer,

and Eunice France,
both of Connersville, Mrs.
Tom (Fankie) Peavley,
Emmanuel, and Lena Marie
Rose and Henrietta Davis,
both of Barbourville; one
son, Claude Eugene Pickard,
Bowling Green; 29 grandchildren;
36 greatgrandchildren
two greatgreat-
grandchildren; four
sisters, Sarah Hall, Cincinnati,
Ohio, Pearl Rudder,
P'ittsboro, Ind., Verla Pittman,
Barbourville and Ruth
Clark. Corbin, and three
brothers, Sam Pickard and
Slim Pickard, both of Barbourville,
and Caleb Pickard, Alaska.
Funeral service is set for
11 a m Wednesday at Mt
Pleasant United Baptist
Church with the Rev.
Charles Brock officiating
Burial will be in the Mt.
Pleasant Cemetery.
Grandsons will serve as
pallbearers, Honorary
pallbearers will be friends
and neighbors.
Visitation is after 3 p m.
Tuesday at the Hampton
Funeral Home 'The body will
lie in state at the church
after 9 a.m. Wednesday
