She was happily married to her dear husband Raymond for 70 years, raising two children.
Doris was the only living original member of the So. Addison Union Church when the ground was broken in 1945. she enjoyed working for the church and hopes it will continue serving people long after she is gone. She also enjoyed being a Girl Scout leader, and a Golden Star Grange Member.
The family invites you to join them for visiting, and a time of refreshments from 1pm until time of funeral services at 2pm on Sunday October 28, 2018 at the Union Church, So. Addison with her son Merle officiating. Burial in the Joyville Cemetery will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers those who wish to make donations in her memory may do so to the So. Addison Union Church in C/O Kathy Stanwood (Treasurer) 37 Mooseneck Road, Addison, ME 04606.
