He was also a veteran of the Persian Gulf War. A graduate of the harry Lundburg Merchant Marine School, he was a member of the Seafarers International Union. Services: 1:30 p.m. July 14 in First United Methodist Church, Pendleton, of which he was a member. Calling: 2 to 7 p.m. July 13 in Wilson St. Pierre Bright Chapel, Pendleton, and from 1 p.m. July 14 in the church. Burial: Elm Ridge Cemetery, Muncie.
