He was the Tucson representative of S. & W. Foods, a company he had been associated with for 12 years. A member of the food industry for 12 years, Mr. Smith was raised in Brookport, Ill., and came to Tucson in 1945.
He is survived by his wife, Lois; two daughters, Toni, and Susan; and two step-daughters, Virginia, and Laura; three brothers, Aubrey, Harry, and Raymond; six sisters, Alice, Leola, Mary, Myrtle, Betty Jo and Barbara; and three grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Smith and Anna Belle (Croach) Smith.
Mr. Smith was a member of Elks Lodge No. 385 and of the Tucson Food Industries Golfing Assn.
