Obit:
Noah D.Atchley, another old and respected citizen of Laclede county, passed from among us when he died at his home on Dry Glaize. He had been ill for a few months with pnuemonia and thought would recover, but had a relapse and death occured.

The remains were brought to Lebanon on Sunday and 2pm that same afternoon the funeral services were held at the Baptist Church, conducted by Rev.Edgar Gum.
Burial was in the Atchley Cemetery.

Noah D. Atchley was born August 23,1835 in Meiggs County,TN to John and Elizabeth Atchley, came to Laclede County and settled on the Goodwin Hollow, then located on the farm on Dry Glaize in 1867,where he resided until his earthly life ended on Friday evening. He married Harriet Rider Jan.26,1868.

He is survived by his wife, Hattie,of the home; two sons, Ellis and Bert Atchley of Dry Glaize; two daughters,Chlora Atchley and Ida(JM)Fulbright of Lebanon; two brothers, Seth and Miles Atchley of Lebanon; three sisters,Elizabeth and Dellia of Eldora,CA. and Sarah Wheeler of Mtn.Grove,Mo.
