Shirla Mae Trammell Babb Young Simpson, 82 of Batesville, Arkansas, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 21, 2018. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
She had many jobs in her life. She worked for Wayne Raney Records, CIeburne County Sherriff's Office, Dr Wayne Smith, Martin Lumber Company and Concord Specialty Corrugated. Her favorite work was the volunteer work she did as the Newsletter Editor for the Arkansas Bluegrass Association.
She was born to Lonnie and Dollie (Huggins) Trammell on December 16 ,1936. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three husbands whom she love dearly: Cecil Babb, Leslie Young, and Dale Simpson; her brothers Ralph, Ray, Buel, Kenneth and Laverne Trammell and one sister Lorene Six. She was also preceded in death by one grandson Robert Babb memorial #146616454 on Find A Grave
and two step-grandsons, Joey Pickett and Eric Simpson.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Larry (Robin) Babb, Don (Karen) Babb, and Susan (Gary) Thomas; step-children Jenelle Pickett (Wick Marvin), Brenda (Terry) Wyhs, Dale (Cleda) Simpson, Mike (Starla) Simpson, Claude (Phyllis) Whited; grandchildren Jennifer Taylor, Joey Babb, Daniel Babb, Scott Thomas, Clint Thomas and Jamie Anderson; great-grandchildren Caleb, Isabell, Sharissa. Ellie and Kyson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the North Heights Church of Christ with funeral services following on Wednesday, October24, 2018 at 10:00am. with Don Gregory and Alex Mills officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh Crossroads Cemetery.
