Larry Leon Billings, 87 of Walls, MS, went to his heavenly home October 18, 2018. Larry was a Korean War veteran and a retired City of Memphis Firefighter. He was known to be an excellent dancer, especially the Bop and Cha Cha. He was preceded in death by his mother and father and leaves behind a son, Lane Billings of Cordova, TN.; a daughter, Sonia Strauss of Memphis, TN.; three grandchildren, Ian, Reed and Jessica; one brother, Jim Billings of Horn Lake, MS.; a sister, Billie Simpson of Walls, MS.; several nieces; many friends in his neighborhood and a loyal friend Bruno Lauer. An informal gathering of friends and family will take place on October 25 at 7 p.m. at 8312 Lake-view Road, Walls, MS.
