BOSSIEUX, Elvie C., 91, of Mechanicsville, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Anda Smith; and husband of 71 years, Overton "Lefty" Bossieux. She is survived by two sons, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, at the Mechanicsville Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd., where services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, October 22, 2018. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. in Peninsula Memorial Park, Newport News. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Indian School, 1301 N. Main St., Chamberlain, S.D. 57325.
