Paula Jean Sellers, 74, of Grand Junction, CO, passed away May 25, 2017, at St. Mary’s Hospital, due to natural causes.
Paula was born September 29, 1942 in Cheyenne Wells, CO to George Leland and Blanche Mabel (Green) Parker. She grew up in Denver, graduating from South High School in 1960. She married Deroy Sellers in 1961 and had three children; they later divorced. She lived in Florissant, CO for ten years before moving to Grand Junction, where she resided for the last twenty years. She was the cafeteria cashier at Community Hospital for 17 years, until retiring in 2014 due to health issues.
Paula was preceded in death by her father, Leland Parker; her mother, Mabel Crow; her stepfather, Luther Crow; and her brother, Donald Parker. She is survived by her children: Scott (Rachel) Sellers, Shannon (Timothy) Stevens, and Kerri (Carey) Kamper; 4 grandchildren: Megan Sellers, and Russell, Elizabeth, and Moriah Kamper; her sister Tami (Albert) Morgan; 2 nieces and 1 nephew: Danette and Jeffrey Watson, and DeAndra (John) Davis; 3 great-nieces and 1 great-nephew: Ariel Richardson, Sarah (Dominic) Negri, and Jayson and Shai Davis; a great-great-nephew; her step-grandmother Margit Parker, 100, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as many friends.
A memorial service will be held for Paula on Saturday, July 15th at 2 pm, at Clifton Assembly of God, 258 5th St., Clifton, CO 81520.
