Services for Phillip Gene Atkisson, 87, of Canton, TX are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Eubank Funeral Chapel in Canton, TX with Dr. Mark Moore officiating. Interment will be at Merit Cemetery in Merit, TX.
Phillip passed away May 15, 2018, in Tyler, TX. He was born June 25, 1930 in Pampa, TX to Royce and Valera Bagwell Atkisson.
Phillip served in the United States Navy and worked in the oil industry.
He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Dean Atkisson.
Phillip is survived by his son, Bryan Atkisson of Canton, TX and nephews, Matt Atkisson and Russell Goss.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2018, at the funeral home.
