Rebecca Arendall, daughter of Nathan Arendall & Susanna Fannin, married James Gober; they were my ggg-grandparents. Rebecca Arendall's sister Elizabeth Arendall married Daniel Gober, brother of James Gober, on 22 December 1814 in Franklin County, Georgia.

ABSTRACT from newspaper : Mrs. J.C.Tabor, Ft. Lamar Georgia, to The Commerce News and dated December 11, 1924 concerning Historical Sketch of early settlers of Franklin County. The article about the Arendall Family was written by Elizabeth Parker Tabor, a native of Franklin County. It was published originally in the Commerce News and later, March 8, 1929, in The Lavonia Times.

" Rebecca married a Gober and moved to North West Georgia, where she lived and died. One of her daughters came back to Franklin County and married a Cromer. ... The Westbrooks, at Ila, are some of her descendants."
