A. E.Goodson Rites Today

Father of Television Producer

Funeral services will be held in Berkeley today for A. E. Goodson, father of television producer, Mark Goodson. Mr. Goodson of 2226 Stuart Street, died Monday at Herrick Memorial Hospital after a short illness. He was 78. A native of Russia, he came to this country in 1903 and was an osteopath in Omaha and Sacramento until 1930 when he opened a Berkeley health food store. He retired seven years ago. Mr. Goodson was a member of B'nai B'rith. He is survived by his wife, Fannie, two other sons, Dr. Harry Goodson of Sacramento, and Marvin, a Los Angeles attorney; a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Krasne of San Diego, and a sister, Mrs. Rachel Belmont of Berkeley. Services will be held at 1 p. m. today at the Little Chapel of the Flowers, 3051 Adeline Street, Berkeley.
