BETTY JOYCE ROARK BROWN, 75, of Duncan, died Tuesday, May 15, 2007, in Kindred Hospital in Oklahoma City.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Calvary Baptist Church, with the Rev. John Culley officiating.
Mrs. Brown died Tuesday, May 15, 2007, in an Oklahoma City hospital. Interment will be at Duncan City Cemetery under direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home.
She was born March 27, 1932, in Cassville, Mo., the daughter of Arthur Lee and Minnie Irene Vanderpool Roark. She married Joseph Earl "Bud" Brown on Dec. 29, 1955, in Lawton. He preceded her in death May 23, 2001.
Betty was a homemaker. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Ladies F.O.P.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, John and Debra Brown, and James and Wanda Brown, all of Duncan, and Ray and Donna Brown of Marlow; a brother, Wesley Roark, Spain; seven grandchildren, Tanya Brown, Candace Brown, Krystyl Brown, Ryan Brown, Jarrod Brown, Kaylee Brown and Jacob Brown; a great-grandchild, Rylee Brown; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Lonnie Roark and Donald Roark; and a son, James Earl Brown.
