Heart Attack Causes Death of Chatfield Woman
Chatfield - (Special)- Mrs. Marlowe H. White, 65, died Saturday evening at 7 at her home here after an illness of several months. Heart trouble caused her death. She had been a resident of Fillmore County more than 30 years.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the St. Matthew's Episcopal church, and burial will be made in the Chatfield cemetery.
Surviving are her husband, and a brother, Frank Kingsbury, Bodaty, Minn.
Florence Kingsbury was born April 18, 1865 on a farm in Fillmore County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Seymour V. Kingsbury. She was married to Mr. White Jan. 22, 1890, at Woonsocket, S. D., where she was teaching school. Mr. and Mrs. Kingsbury lived seven years at Woonsocket before coming to Chatfield.
Mrs. White was a partner in the firm of H. H. White & Co., operating a merchandise store here. She was a member of the Episcopal church, and of the Eastern Star chapter.
