Dolores, a resident of Chimayó, was predeceased by her husband Hector Martinez; sons: Ronnie and Carmen Martinez; grandson Michael Esquibel; parents Dorothy and Carmen Hernández of Montana.
Dolores was survived by her sons: Kenneth Martinez and Ricky Martinez; daughters: Juanita Porteous (Kevin), Anita Esquibel (Max), and Gina Martinez (Carlos); 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, and numerous relatives and friends whom she loved dearly.
Dolores was a loving mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly, especially her dog, Daisy. She loved taking care of her flowers, cooking, and making sure her home and family were always taken care of.
Mass of Christian Burial was on 15 October 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayó. Burial followed in El Potrero Cemetery in Chimayó. Pallbearers: Danny Esquibel, Alejandro Esquibel, Eric García, Kenneth Martinez, Ricky “Honkie” Burrell, and Roberto Villella. Honorary pallbearers: Carl García, Jessica Martinez, and Jason Martinez.
