In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, James Patrick White; brothers, Earl, Carl, Hoyt and wife Pat Gilbert, brother-in-law Tom White.
Marlene was a member of Puett United Methodist Church where she enjoyed attending services as a server. She was an avid reader. She was also an avid Yankee baseball fan. Marlene retired from Freightliner in the Payroll Department after 13 years of dedicated service.
Left to cherish her memories includes her son, John (Patti) White; grandson, Sean (Hannah) White; great granddaughter Hadley Savannah White; sisters-in-law, Sallie Gilbert, Charleen Gilbert and Ruth White; treasured friends, Penny Sturgill and Pat Turner; several nieces and nephews
Funeral: Puett United Methodist Church with Reverend Wade Childers and Reverend George Rhyne officiating.
Interment: White-Jenkins Cemetery.
