Mildred Lucille Inman, daughter of Eldridge and Verda May Williams Jones, was born October 26, 1937, in Grovespring, Missouri. She departed this life Wednesday, October 3, 2018, in Hartville Care Center, in Hartville, Missouri, at the age of eighty years, eleven months, and seven days.

On November 16, 1958, she was united in marriage to George Lee Inman, Sr., and to this union one daughter and two sons were born.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Pamela Ruth Inman; a brother, Wayne Jones; and a sister, Ruth Jones.

Lucille is survived by her loving husband of fifty-nine years, George, of the home; two sons, George Inman, Jr., and his wife, Teresa, and Gary Inman, and his wife, Pam, all of Lebanon, Missouri; four grandchildren, Timothy, Tom, James, and Michelle; six great-grandchildren, John, Jr., Willis, Zander, J. T., Trevor, and Trent; a brother, Paul Jones, of Grovespring, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

She was born and raised in the Grovespring community. After she and George were married, they lived most of their life in the Grovespring area except for the fourteen years when they made their home in New Jersey. Lucille was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family, did house cleaning for several families, and also worked in the housekeeping department at Wallace Hospital in Lebanon for a number of years.
Lucille made her profession of faith and was baptized at the age of thirteen and was a longtime active member of Mount Zion (Cuba) Freewill Baptist Church.
She liked caring for her home and enjoyed having things clean and neat. She also took good care of their lawn and was always willing to help others. She and George enjoyed traveling across the country and had seen many fascinating places. She loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed having time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lucille was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her eighty years.

A memorial has been established and contributions may be left at the funeral home.
