Cecil Ross Cummings, Jr. passed away unexpectedly at home in Kiefer, OK on October 8, 2018. He was born in 1953 at the Indian Hospital in Claremore, OK to Cecil Ross Cummings, Sr. and Nancy D. McIntosh. He was preceded in death by his parents; his older brother, Dave; and a daughter-in-law, Jaymie. Over the years Cecil worked for Centrilift, Unit Rig & Eqpt, and Schlumberger in several different capacities: Creative Director, IT Site Mgr., and finally as a Metrologist. He enjoyed many hobbies, but specifically anything having to do with the outdoors or music. Oh yes, and OU football! He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Cathy; his son, Ross of Tulsa; and daughter, Chris and son-in-law, Mike of Broken Arrow; 2 grandchildren, Cheyenne and Trystin; and numerous 4-legged kiddos and grandpets. A memorial service is planned for a future date. He was a soft-spoken man, a kind and loving man, a GOOD man - a true man of God, and we find comfort knowing he is now in Heaven with his Saviour, free of all the pain and suffering he endured here for so many years.
