ELGIN Mary Ellen "Snow" Keahbone, 56, of Elgin went to her heavenly home on Sunday Feb. 28, 2016, with her loving family by her side.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at Crossroads Baptist Church, 11423 NE 75th, Elgin, with the Rev. Mike Keahbone officiating.

Burial will follow at Little Washita Cemetery, Fletcher, under direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home.

Prayer service will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at the funeral home chapel.

Mary was born June 23, 1959, in Lawton, to Thomas and Rachel (Noyebad) Keahbone. She was raised in Elgin and attended Elgin Schools, and graduated from Fort Sill Indian School in 1978. She loved collecting porcelain cats, making blankets for her grandbabies, and caught the casino bug and played often. She was a proud member of the Comanche Nation and also a descendent of the Kiowa Tribe.

She is survived by: daughter, Rachel Keahbone of the home; granddaughter, Eratere Keahbone of Lawton; and grandson, Jamez Dylan Keahbone of the home; brother, Gerald "Double" Keahbone of Checotah; special brother, Eric Komacheet: nephews: Mike Keahbone, Lonnie Noyebad and David Keahbone; nieces: Layla Alvarez Churchill, Amber Keahbone, Katie Keahbone; special niece, Jennifer Komacheet; And her beloved dog, Princess

She was preceded in death by: her mother, Rachel Keahbone; father, Thomas Keahbone; companion, Raymond "Bull" Cooper; brother, Vernon Keahbone; sisters: Brenda Noyobad Alvarez and Katherine "Kat" Keahbone; and nephew, Thomas "Tommy" Keahbone.
