MCAdoo Jefferson Huffman, 89, of Farmington, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2007, in Albuquerque. He was born Jan. 26, 1918, in Chalk Mountain, Texas, to George Washington Huffman and Oma Lee Hyles Huffman.
Mack is survived by his wife of 57 years, Wilma Huffman; three sons, Jim Huffman and wife, Marianne, of Elgin, Okla., Henry Huffman, of Regina, and David Huffman, of St. David, Ariz.; a daughter, Carol Lee Templeton and husband, John, of Aztec; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister, Ruth Brooks and husband, Wincel, of Iowa Park, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mack was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Billie Osborne; grandsons, Billy Huffman and James Huffman; and 19 brothers and sisters.
Visitation for Mack will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today, Wednesday, May 16, at Brewer, Lee & Larkin Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 17, at Brewer, Lee & Larkin Chapel, with Charles Huffman and Carr Stalworthy officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Mack Huffman, Russell John Huffman, Hank Huffman, John Michael Templeton, Zachery Huffman and Randy Brown.
