She was born on May 12, 1929 in Comanche County, Texas to Clifford Flanagan and Alma (Culbertson).
On December 28, 1950, she married Jerry Conway in Comanche, Texas. He preceded her in death on March 21, 1991.
Lavada was a homemaker and devoted her life to her husband and children. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Dr. Gail Conway and wife, Kay, of Comanche and Cliff Conway of Comanche; grandchildren, Jenny Conway, Jon Conway, Logan Conway and wife Tricia, and Nolan Conway and wife, April; and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford Flanagan and Alma (Culbertson) and a brother, Duane.
