YORK Maxine V. Lee, 84, of Springettsbury Township, died at 6 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at her residence. She was the wife of F. Gordon Lee. Mr. and Mrs. Lee observed their 66th wed ding anniversary on February 15, 2007.

Mrs. Lee was born in Bloomington, Ill., on July 4, 1922, a daughter of the late Dean and Laura (Winklepleck) Durflinger.

She and her husband moved to York in 1953. She was a part owner and cook for Hayden Zug's Restaurant, as well as being a homemaker and mother. Mrs. Lee was a member of Locust Grove United Church of Christ, as well as being a member of the church choir.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four sons, Richard K. Lee, Terry D. Lee, Daniel G. Lee, and Randy K. Lee, all of York; five granddaughters, Michelle Wilson, Angela Aldinger, Jennifer Brillhart, Brittaney Snoke, and Hayley Snoke; four great-grandchildren, Logan Wilson, Tucker Aldinger, Chase Wilson, and Cole Brillhart

Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery.
