Born in Rockingham county, Va., Mrs. Frank resided most of her life in Jackson township, coming to Fort Wayne six years ago upon the death of her husband, Lemuel Frank. She remembered many incidents of the Civil War, having been injured while watching a battle that took place on her father's farm in Virginia. She was a member of Sugar Ridge church and taught Sunday school at the Baldwin U. B. church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Dora Brookens of Jonesboro, Ark.; two sons, J. O. Frank of Gordon, Wis., and C. H. Frank of this city; a sister, Mrs. Matilda Carrier living in Allen county; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
