Earldeen A. “Deen” Smith of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Earl Atwood and Hazel Irene Dunn Atwood, was born July 22, 1939, in Simpson County, Kentucky. She died at 10:45 A.M., Monday, October 8, 2018 in Louisville. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of First United Methodist Church where she had held several positions, including a member of the choir, the Susan Loy Circle and the Board of Trustees. She was a member of the Campbellsville Women’s Club and the Business and Professional Women’s Club. Deen was a retired schoolteacher having in taught schools in Kentucky and Ohio for more than forty years and most recently, with the Taylor County School System . She united in marriage to Tom H. Smith June 20, 1960.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, five grandchildren, one sister, and many other relatives and friends. VISITATION: 5:00 - 8:00 P.M., Friday, October 12, 2018 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home and after 10:00 A.M., Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 P.M., Saturday, October 13, 2018 at First United Methodist Church in Campbellsville by Pastor Mike Coppersmith.
