Ruby Mae Bollinger, age 95, of New Windsor, died Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Carroll Hospice Dove House. Born April 11, 1923 in New Windsor, she was the daughter of the late Uriah S. Fritz and Mary Virginia Waddell Fritz. She was the wife of James M. Bollinger who died in 2006.

Ruby was a 1940 graduate of New Windsor High School. She was formerly employed at the Brethren Service Center as a head cook for 33 years, retiring in 1989. She was active with Meals on Wheels until retiring in 1998. Ruby was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, New Windsor and was a charter member of the New Windsor Volunteer Fire Co. Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was a dedicated church member.

Surviving are children, Barbara Fogle and husband Richard of Taneytown, son, Robert Bollinger and wife Bonnie Jean of Needmore, PA; grandchildren, Richard J. Fogle and wife Pamela, Amy Marie Jones and husband Robert, Laurie A. Waugh and husband Ron, Brian D. Bollinger and wife Kimberly and Cynthia Anne Koutsouradis and husband Ari; great grandchildren, David A. Bollinger, Shannon N. Fogle, Jessup S. Jones, Steven M. Koutsouradis, Rochelle M. Jones, Dustin J. Fogle and Katherine J. Koutsouradis; a great great grandson, Orry Main Bollinger and sister-in-law, Betty Fritz of New Windsor. She was predeceased by brother, Charles W. Fritz.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 12, at Hartzler Funeral Home, 310 Church St., New Windsor, with her pastor, Rev. Shari McCourt, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Uniontown, MD.
