MRS. GERTRUDE TIER DIES IN BROOKLYN
Mrs. Gertrude Tier, widow of the late John Tier, Sr., formerly of this city, passed away on Saturday at the home of her son in Brooklyn in the eighty-second year of her age. She had been ill only a few days. Surviving Mrs. Tier are a son, William N. Tier, a sister, Mrs. W. I. Tier, of Rahway, and seven grand children and two great grand children. The funeral will be held from Trinity Reformed church of which Mrs. Tier was a life long member, at 3 p. m. on Tuesday June 4, the Rev. John Y. Broek officiating. Interment in Evergreen cemetery, Plainfield.
