Robert “Bobby” Adair, 83, of Bartlesville, died Wednesday, October 3, 2018.

Robert was born on May 20, 1935 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to parents, Roosevelt and Clara (Turner) Adair. Robert was in the 1953 Bartlesville graduating class, then joined the Army to proudly serve his country during the Korean Conflict. Bobby worked as a pipeline gauger for Arko Oil Company. On December 4, 2008 he married Cherita Choate.

Bobby enjoyed working in his huge vegetable garden. He also liked taking his son, Clinton, to hit golf balls, fish, and shooting squirrels. He liked watching football and basketball on TV and playing dominoes. Bobby cherished spending time with family.

Survivors include his wife Cherita of the home, his children Clinton Adair and wife Ashton of Oklahoma City, Carol Wilson of Wichita, Faye Adair of Tulsa, and Christy Adair of Rancho Cucamonga, California, stepchildren Briana and Courtlyn Shoate, grandchildren, Stephanie Wyatt and Nicole Murray of Kansas City, Missouri along with numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings, Everett Adair and wife Susie of Bartlesville, Rosine Ratliff of Bartlesville, Ruth Nash of Bartlesville, and Maude White and husband Roscoe of Bartlesville.

Bobby was preceded in death by his daughter, Jackie Clairborne, brother, Theodore Adair, brother, Donald Adair, sister, Ida Mae Adair, brother, Clinton Adair, and brother, Eddie Adair.

Services: Friday, October 12, 2018 at the Miracle Temple in Bartlesville with Pastor Lowell Nash officiating. Interment to follow in the White Rose Cemetery, Bartlesville, under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory. **
